About Ms. Sample

Hello, my name is Marjorie Sample and I’m excited to join the faculty at Cedar Fork Elementary! I’ve taught 3rd and 5th grade at Bunn Elementary for the past five years. I really enjoy teaching writing and doing activities with reader's theater. 

 

My love for writing lead me to start my own blog called, "A Sample of Tech and Teaching." Recently, I started to help run the social media accounts for Girl Develop It- RDU, which is a non-profit that helps women learn to code. I’m incredibly passionate about technology and I’m constantly researching ways to integrate it into the classroom. 

 

In the summer, you will find me by the beach and in the winter I like to hit the slopes and go skiing. I’m also an avid reader, especially when it comes to non-fiction.
